DANCE!!
There was a dance at Durham last night and dances are like the best thing EVER! I mean..it gives me the opportunity to do what I love doing the most. I wish people could see that, though. I wonder if people don't seem to like dancing or watching people dance or laugh at the concept of interpretive dance because they don't know how to do it or they think it is silly or they just don't understand the seriousness of it and the meaning behind all of the actions. The dance at Durham was far from interpretive, but at least it was extremely fun and I was glad that I didn't have to sit out on all of the slow dances this year! I wish that people could express their inner self and their thoughts, feelings, etc. in an easier way than we know how. Why can't people just say how they feel or tell someone something by being straight forward and just saying it instead of going the long way about it. Why do humans have such a difficulty asking simple questions? And why does everything seem so difficult to comprehend and fit in to.

But yes, slow dancing is so much better when you actually participate and don't have to watch people do it.
And people aren't straighforard because for some reason some people can't handle it and snap so people just don't do it for fear of people snapping. Blame the high strung people for this.
And humans don't ask simple questions because it is simple...we think its too obvious to warrant asking.

asking simple questions makes life so much more confusing cuz you have to question what you think and why you think it.

well it is embarrassing only when ppl who dont understand the meaning behind it all criticise it.

Well you should smack those people for making fun of you. I thought it was fantastic. Though as for meaning.....I am going to guess something about God :p Past that I guess I would be lost.

Is the meaning behind the actions kind of like a 'sign-language for dancing' or something?
Oh, we are planning on making people laugh again. :) But I suppose we could do serious as well (bonus points. lol), or at least I would be willing to anyways. I cannot speak for Paul.
no..i think it's just something that adds meaning for the person who is dancing..unless others can read the meaning behind it.

Well I probably miss most of the meaning behind the action, but I still admire the courage it takes to go up and do it. I appreciate the bits I do understand and appreciate the fact that there is so much more to it than I understand. :)
Too bad you are letting people negative's views on what you do influence whether you go up and do something like it or not. :( It shall be sorely missed by me, if no one else.
I'm thinking Paul and I shall do something on the funny side again this year.
And yes I would honestly consider dancing with you. Ok, let me rephrase that...I already have thought about it and would be more than glad to help out in anyway I can if you want me to. :D
