Things only get better

"The darkest hour is just before dawn." How many times do we hear this and yet while we are in the dark, we are unable to allow ourselves to see the light and the dawn ahead of us.

Life gets so much better as long as you have a close relationship with God. Satan tries his hardest to clamp down on us and strangle the breath out of us until we give up and give in to him. But as Christians, we know that he can NEVER get out our last breath. God always provides more in a way that may not seem possible. He provides a way out of the crushing weight of the enemy and he will not let us have more than we can handle.

Everything is still so dark, but when we come to God in prayer and in the power of the Holy Spirit, he hears us, answers us and fights for us. He is with us in the battle of our mind. Constantly. He will never leave us or abandon us to fight for ourselves alone. He gives grace and peace, mercy and contentment. He is the only one who gives real joy. The earth can give us happines, but only God can give joy because there is so much more behind it.

School is awesome because friends are the best. The prayer of a friend for a friend in the Holy Spirit is so much more valuable than anything we could understand. "And the Holy Spirit pleads for us with groanings that cannot be expressed." (That's not the right wording and I don't know the exact verse but it's something along those lines.)

Not a whole lot is happening in life.. A bunch of people went to Stratford to watch Romeo and Juliet the other day. Wish I coulda gone but I'll just dream about Romeo.. "Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name, or, if thou shalt not, proclaim me of thy love and I'll no longer be a Capulet." That's all I know but that pretty much sums it up anyway! :P

Anywho, Thanksgiving is this weekend and I can't wait. Hopefully I'll get another post in at some point to focus on that..as this post definately doesn't! :P

Isn't God supposed to make everything light for you?
And Stratford was pretty sweet. Too bad you did not go.

he does make things light for us. just sometimes our sinful human nature doesnt allow us to see everything clearly.
yes..missed the only play i would ever be interested in seeing..but watev

That is one thing I never understood. If humans are created in the image of God.....why is out nature sinful? Does that then mean there is a possibility that God is sinful?
What about Up The Down Staircase? :P

our nature is sinful because adam and eve chose to disregard the instructions of God and allowed themselves to fall for temptation and they sinned. that line of sin follows every person, no matter how hard they tried to get away.
there is NO possible way that God is sinful!
haha..Up the down staircase is almost a waste of time for me b/c i have such a minute part..in comparison to this guy here who is one of the main characters! haha..were you disappointed you dont get to kiss anyone? jk

Well if Adam and Eve did what they did way back in the day, why are WE still suffering for what THEY did? I was not the one who made the idiotic decision, so why am I being punished for something I had no say in?
But surely God knew that they would have done that anyways. Why would God even tempt us in the first place? It is like setting us up for failure.

Minute parts make the play. Main characters are great, but the little ones with a line here and an action there really make the play come to life and have a point.
Ha, well I may have a main part but I can only do the play two times instead of four which angers me big time. Defeats the whole point to signing up!
And I was a little disappointed I did not get to kiss anyone, but much more relieved than disapointed about not kissing seeing as I have never kissed anyone and wish to reserve the first kiss for someone special or a special moment. No offence to whoever I may have to kiss....just it wouldn't be the same. Do you get to kiss anyone in the play?

sin came into the world by one man, Adam. (im paraphrasing a verse in the Bible) but salvation and the forgiveness of sins comes to everyone by another man, Jesus.
it became human nature, but that's another reason why Jesus' sacrifice was so important and so beneficial. The Bible says God doesnt tempt us..Satan does. God tests us (which is different) so that our character and faith are strengthened.

small parts just make me mad though..it also defeats the purpose of signing up. good to keep ur first kiss for ur special person. thats what i plan on doing too. no..i dont get to kiss anyone in the play

Jesus forgiving us of our sins is all dandy and such, but why not just wipe the slate clean and put people back into a pure world again? Or are we as a whole too far gone for that?

What is the difference between testing and tempting?

Well at least with the small part in the play you got to be on the stage for each performance!
Ahaha, so you haven't kissed anyone either eh? For some reason this makes me laugh a great deal... and no I'm not laughing at you. Do not worry. :)
